Here is something to consider: what is the most embarassing face movement one human can do to another?
My vote is for the wink. I can't imagine the kind of bravado required to wink and not feel like an asshole, but I suppose there must be some people out there capable of the feat because these are the people who wink at me all the time.
Also, what qualifies for a wink? I always thought it was a "between you and me" thing, like helping someone get back at The Man. But now I get winks for finishing business transactions or talking about Barbara Streisand on DVD.
It's very confusing.

i dont think the person winking would feel embarassed. if it's about making a face that causes embarassment, i like it when people draw tear drops on down their cheek. I think one of the best facial expressions of all time was performed by Will Ferrell's SNL character Gus Chiggins. At the end of a skit, he pulls off a wink and fake teardrop combination while making a "werp" sound. blowing kisses to strangers followed by a curled upper lip has gotta be up there somewhere in the hall of fame I think the most embarassing and yet most difficult facial movement is the tongue-in-nose move. You practice it, you finally get it and show people, and they say wow that is cool. You don't feel half the sense of accomplishment you thought you would, and now you are just embarassed that you put that much time into the whole affair. Also, it means you are eating your bugars. gus chiggins? i'd be more afraid of kay-otes if i was you! Embarassing for whom? Because clearly any eye contact made between to people post-fart, failed joke, or calling-of-the-wrong-name is tops. And so easy! |

but still, you can't qualify or disqualify winks based on winkees
embarassing face movement = sticking out tongue, when accompanied by flicking off
