The Magic hour refers to the period of time between lunch and dinner when restaurants remain open even though they probably shouldn't. This generally occurs between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
Magic hour restaurants are marked by their ambiguously empty appearance; the management may be tidying up, or facilitating the transition from lunch to dinner fare. In rare cases, it is possible to observe diners just finishing their meal, or eating late because they slept in.

Dear Internet,
I am the foreign correspondent for a website which is about jam bands or something. This morning I woke up late. I went to a restaurant which has two names: Lucky's is one of the names. The other is Ten-O-One, referring to its numerical street address. They lacked a magic hour and I was asked by a man wielding a trash can on wheels to leave. I did so.
